Am Yisrael Chai
This piece created after the attrocities of the 7th October has 230 overlapping hearts, each one representing a different person that has been captured and held in Gaza (which has sadly gone up since my drawing). Each heart is a reminder that every life, no matter the circumstance, is intertwined in the fabric of our nation. Every heart is a testament to a life that beats with resilience and hope. Every heart is a story, every heart is a life, and every life matters.
These hearts converging around the Hebrew word ‘Chai’, meaning - 'life', is a powerful affirmation in the sanctity of life and our collective hope in the safe return of these hostages, as well as our soldiers, and a peaceful, brighter and united future ahead.
